After a daunting series of trial and error, I've finally decided to reveal my daily product line-up with you all. My regimen is ever-changing (especially from season to season) but I'll keep everyone up-to-date on whatever newbies I decide to give a go or if any formulations are altered and get dropped from the roster altogether.

As a reminder, these are products that work for my skin and may not necessarily do yours any justice so take my recs with a grain of salt. I get hormonal chin breakouts and the occasional "wow you just had to eat that pizza" zit here and there + combo skin + naturally larger pores.

MORNING

CLEANSING
Every morning I splash my face with cold water for a bit to wake myself up and wash away any residual oils or eye gunk. I've dealt with morning cleansers before and it hasn't really done much for me personally so I figured I'd save myself the $ and trouble.

TONER
Nature Republic Aloe Vera 90% Toner $11.90 naturerepublicusa.com

Extensive research led me to ditch my harsher toner formulas for fear of stripping my skin and in turn causing dehydration and excessive oil production retaliation. Even skin guru Joanna Vargas recently told Into The Gloss that she doesn't recommend toner usage for everyone. This one from Nature Republic is ultra gentle and soothing on the skin which makes it suitable for both morning and night.

SERUMS

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum $23.96 yesstyle.com
Rise + Glow Duo is a mini set of 8 ml C-Firma Brightening Day Serum and a B-hydra Intensive Hydration Serum, perfect for your morning routine
Drunk Elephant Rise + Glow Duo $23 drunkelephant.com

The moisture serum feels like an emulsion (thin, watery moisturizer) but evaporates into your skin in seconds. This extra hydration boost keeps my skin from giving out on me on busy, stressful days and improves the barrier between me and the gross city pollutants out there. As tiny as the duo sizes appear, they last way longer than you'd expect and work well together. I don't use either of these daily since I'm not a fan of using vitamin c serums and then going out in the sun and B-Hydra is quite similar to the moisture serum.

MOISTURIZER
First Aid Beauty - Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream 1.7 oz/ 50 mL
First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream $34 sephora.com

Thanks to my lovely best friend and a sudden realization that my seemingly awesome previous moisturizer had squalane in it (yes, the holy hyped ingredient breaks me out), I discovered this lightweight delight. Gel and water creams are ideal for those of us with any kind of oily skin concerns or big pores that are easily clogged up. If you have zero issues with squalane, Belif's Aqua Bomb is a solid choice for day and night hydration. Immediately after, I do a small-scale lymphatic drainage massage with my jade roller to get my blood circulating and all the puffiness out the door.

SPF
Supergoop! - Everyday Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 2.4 oz/ 71 mL Clean at Sephora
Supergoop! Everyday Sunscreen SPF 50 $19 sephora.com

For a non-greasy, cruelty-free option to wear under make-up or alone, I'm obsessed with this and the mineral version Supergoop! have to offer. If you're not miffed by the oil slick feel and want a splurge, try out Giorgio Armani's UV Skin Defense Primer.

NIGHT

CLEANSING
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water $14.90 dermstore.com

Hada Labo Goku-Jyun Hyaluronic Acid Face Wash $8.23 yesstyle.com

Bioderma is a godsend for make-up removal. Nothing else can hold a candle to this product. The Japanese cleanser is the softest one I think I've ever used even though I'm still a fan of the Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser. The creamy consistency is not obnoxiously foamy and after massaging it in circles for 60 seconds, leaves skin feeling clean and supple.

TONER
Same as above!

ESSENCE

COSRX Hydra Power Hyaluronic Acid Essence $18.53 yesstyle.com

Giving up SK-II hurt my feelings but it was hurting my bank account without any visible benefits to hold onto. My facialist and many estheticians have been suggesting to clients that they invest in a hyaluronic acid serum and essence is a watery one of sorts. I really like how quickly my skin absorbs this one and it works for both warm and cold seasons.

MOISTURIZER
Same as above!

MASKING

CLAY

Asarai Earth Tones Australian Red Clay Mask $35 asarai.com

What's great about this mask is it doesn't feel super tight or crusty while I have it on. I may switch back to charcoal masks sometimes like the one from Innisfree I've mentioned before, but most of the time I use this to smooth out the texture of my face. 2-3 times a week and be sure to cleanse after using this since the red clay stains the skin a bit.

You can refer to my masking guide for all the sheet masks I regularly enjoy using, but I recently bought some from Briskin that were just as amazing too.

CURRENT HOLY GRAIL
Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum
Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum $58 farmacybeauty.com

I should start kissing this bottle every night as thanks for helping diminish spots, redness, and drastically improving the look of my skin overnight. If you ever want to buy something pricey as a little "treat yourself" gift this is it.
