Closet Check: Cool Brands Courtesy of Copenhagen Fashion Week Finds

The Scandinavian epicenter is home to some seriously trendy designer goods and boutiques galore. Some may already be acquainted with the sustainably conscious Ganni, popularly accessed through stockists like ShopBop, Net-A-Porter, and now even Nordstrom. Fashion forwardness flourishes in plenty of other brands on and off the runways at fashion week and I'm happy to share what I've found that caters to an international consumer base.
STINE GOYA

Naja Munthe's well-established brand has been attached to the hearts of fashion's elite since the '90s, taking inspiration from international artists to develop elegant and modernized designs. MARK KENLY DOMINO TAN
MKDT started as a child prodigy and has gone as far as to design for not only the royal family of Denmark, but legendary houses like Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga as well. CECILIE BAHNSEN
As an LVMH Prize finalist, Cecilie has couture-level skills for her ready-to-wear collections despite only being in business since 2015. This award-winning outwear brand worn by the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna may still use real fur in their collections but have an extensive page explaining how they sustainably source it and what types they use.
