I realize I'm not very consistent with fashion week posts, so I wanted to start off this one by asking you guys to let me know if you'd like me do these more often. There are so many different locations and seasons to go off, so I won't cover all of them, but I can definitely also add stand-outs on my Instagram story if you prefer that. Let me know in the comments or DM me on Insta later!

This busy bee has been mentally exhausted especially with graduation and major adulting around the corner, but I'm always trying to stay on top of what goes on in the fashion world plus discovering new designers along the way. In terms of trends thus far: icy blues, majestic purples, carrot golds, head-to-toe leather, Sherlock plaids, baggy suiting, and fabric contrasting.

More often than not most of my favorites line-up is comprised of relatively well-known houses, but you'll all be pleased to see an array of fresh labels this time around.

Rosa Chá

Iraqi-Brazilian swimwear designer Amir Slama has brought us a cyberpunk dream in his first ready-to-wear collection. Chrome dresses, utilitarian jumpsuits, and faint traces of his sexy swim expertise.

Phuong My

Hailing from Vietnam, Tran Phuong My is finally making waves in the U.S. after distributing to over 20 countries the past 7 years. She prides herself on evoking emotion through her designs and carefully choosing fabrics from the absolute best producers across the globe.

Cong Tri

When you see that someone has worked with Rihanna, you know it's got to be pure excellence. Nguyen Cong Tri is another Vietnamese debut worth fawning over, with beading and threading skills so precise and profound you'll be shocked to know he was only recognized (the first of his country btw) 5 years ago as a member of the Asia Couture Federation.

Oscar de la Renta

Are Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia the best duo to happen to fashion? Yes. Are they the best duo to happen ever? Possibly. The two noted their set was modeled after the Mosque-Cathedral in Córdoba, Spain, which explains the rich color scheme and material choices given Spain's Moroccan influence.

Sally LaPointe

Albeit not a huge fan of her rampant use of real skins and furs or Elvis Presley, her take on his 1968 comeback wardrobe is quite luxurious and translates perfectly unto the womanly figures of her cast.

Bibhu Mohapatra

FIT alumni and head of J. Mendel for nearly a decade, the Indian-born designer spares no collection from structural perfection. The man has dressed Michelle Obama, has reached out to help traditional weavers in Orissa, and consistently emobdies whatever his current inspiration is to a tee on the runway.

3.1 Phillip Lim

In a muddled sea of high and low fashion, Phillip Lim has turned a new leaf toward sustainable fashion. He's fully onboard the fur-free train (yes even the Oscar the Grouch coat pictured above) and has taken a liking to the idea of decluttering, which has thus inspired a very simplistic Japanese style collection.

Zimmermann

Badass Victorian-era spy is the vibe for the Australian labels latest gig. Kinda stumped for words on this one it's truly a dream. Imagine Keira Knightley and Danai Gurira strutting around in these to serve a gang of men some major ass-kicking.

LaQuan Smith

Hot Tribeca accountant comes alive after clocking out. LaQuan masters the art of wearable glam and gains the loyal following of not only the likes of Beyoncé herself, but all the young social media cats too. The remnants of 90s era high fashion woven into this show are nostalgic paradise.

Tomo Koizumi

Last but certainly not least, the show that made me giddy like a schoolgirl. Never thought polyester organza pieced together would make me smile but here we are. The second I read that Koizumi likes the concept of Sailor Moon in which girls can be cute but strong, I knew he was my guy. These poofy dresses are like sailor senshi armor basically and I want nothing more than to be buried in one.
